Givenchy is a famous French maison that produces clothing, footwear, perfumes, make-up and luxury accessories for him and for her. Hubert James Taffin de Givenchy founded this brand in Paris in 1952 when he was just 25. In 1954, only two years later, he was the first major fashion designer to present a luxury ready-to-wear line much appreciated by many important women of that period; the beautiful actress Audrey Hepburn became Givenchy’s muse and the designer created for her personal and stage-dresses. In 1995 Givenchy retired; in the years later led the company Alexander McQueen first, Julien MacDonald and today the Italian creative director Riccardo Tisci, who has a sensual and erotic unmistakable style. This brand, already from the beginning, has been always synonym with elegance, luxury and sophistication, presenting simple and formal dresses unique for creative unexpected touches.
